Curatorial work

I work as a curator in exhibitions at Matienschön / Club Cultural Matienzo, an independent artistic and cultural space in Buenos Aires.
At Matienschön, we plan each exhibition project as an open process, that should lead the project to unexpected places, thus becoming a transformative experience for those involved. We achive that goal by means of intense collaboration, dialogue and teamwork between artists and curatorial teams.
Project development, critical thinking, event planning, production and logistics, mounting: all of this tasks are then lead by the team that results from this partnership between artists, curators and institution, with experimentation and collaboration as the driving forces.
We go for uncertainty, for interdisciplinarity, for collectivization. We believe that building networks of collaboration is essential to the transformation of our cultural ecology, as one of the key functions of today's art shouldn't be to express a certain subjectivity but to create experimental micro-communities that may became small models for the construction of an alternative, better society.

Some exhibitions I've curated:
- Bombones (Chocolates), solo exhibition by Laurie Czech.
- El Otro Castillo (The other castle), experimental videogames by five argentinean programmers.
- ¡Esa idea no se sostiene! (That idea doesn't hold up), solo exhibition by Pablo Boffelli.
- Lo-fi lulu (low-fidelity tenderness), group exhibition.
